Luminus Devices is an early-stage company developing an LED-based solution for the emerging category of Micro-Display based Rear Projection TV (MD-RPTV). It is leveraging its patented photonic lattice technology to get enhanced light extraction and a more collimated beam of light from an LED. The products will be sold primarily to OEMs as the light sources for displays.
