John joined Battery in 2007 as the Director of Financial and
Estate Planning for the firm’s Family Office. Prior to Battery,
John worked in public accounting for 17 years, most recently as a Tax
Principal at DiCicco, Gulman & Company, LLP. Previously, John was
a Senior Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and earlier in his
career, a Senior Auditor for BDO Seidman.
During his career as a CPA, John specialized in providing tax advice to
closely-held, entrepreneurial and family-owned businesses. He has worked
extensively with the high net worth owners and families of his business
clients, assisting them with their individual, family, trust and charitable
tax planning needs. John received a BS with honors in Accountancy from
Boston College and a JD from Boston College Law School.
