Raymond joined Battery in 2006 as an Associate and focuses on private equity
investments, including growth equity, buyouts, rollups, PIPES and take-privates.
Prior to Battery, he was a Senior Analyst at Jefferies Broadview, the technology
investment banking division of Jefferies & Company, where he focused
on M&A and equity and debt financings in the software and services sectors.
At Jefferies Broadview, Raymond worked on more
than 15 M&A and capital market transactions valued at more than $1.8B.
He has completed transactions with leading technology firms such as Netegrity,
Computer Associates and Hewlett-Packard.
In addition, Raymond held positions
at InfoLenz, a startup company providing pricing optimization technology,
and Forrester Research. He graduated with honors in Applied Mathematics
and Economics from Harvard University.
