Cornel joined Battery in 2000 and focuses on assisting portfolio companies
with executive search and staffing challenges. Most recently, Cornel
was co-founder of the retained executive search firm, Lexington Associates.
There, he leveraged his 18 years of experience in senior management
in the Internet, data networking and telecommunications industries
to successfully complete many high profile executive searches.
Prior to
founding Lexington Associates, Cornel was Vice President in the Network
Systems Division of PictureTel Corporation, where he spearheaded the
company’s
entry into the Internet and e-commerce market. He was also the Vice President
of Product Management for EIS International, a computer telephony integration
company. Cornel holds both an undergraduate degree in Accounting and
an MBA from Suffolk University.
